Imitation, it’s been said, is the sincerest form of flattery.

After getting subjugated by Cascade’s showtime demonstration last Tuesday, the clued-up Newport girls’ basketball team took note of the Cougars’ fast-breaking, foot-on-the-gas style and applied it to their contest with Stayton on Friday.
