Boomers stayed composed, come out with key 62-53 win

Toledo wing David Ammons swats away an offering by Waldport’s Dalton Brown in the third quarter of the Boomers’ win on Saturday. Ammons led the Boomers with 17 points.

When Waldport shooting guard Tyler Johnson's three from the left wing found nothing but the bottom of the net, tying the game at 53-53 with 3:51 left in the fourth, there was no sense of panic among the Toledo boys' basketball team.
