Throughout his adolescence, Mark Moore Jr. was always the quarterback in Lincoln County, the gunslinger calling the shots in middle school, the triggerman for Kurt Hargett's influential offense at Newport High School, a passer so pure and accurate that some believe he was the best signal caller ever to don a Cub uniform.
