The City of Newport wants this stretch of road on Bay Road near the Port of Newport International Terminal repaired before a log exporting operation begins later this year. Newport City Engineer Tim Gross has signed off on a traffic impact study showing that the project “will not cause excessive queuing or delays at affected intersections.” A public forum on the Teevin Bros. log exporting operation is scheduled for Tuesday, March 19, at 6 p.m. in Room 140 of Oregon Coast Community College’s South Beach campus.
