Port of Newport dedicates rebuilt boat launch floats

Port of Newport Board of Commissioners President JoAnn Barton and Oregon State Marine Board Director Scott Brewen cut the ribbon Monday to mark the completion of the port’s new boarding floats at the South Beach Marina boat launch. NEWPORT — A bone chilling cold wind couldn’t keep dignitaries away from the dedication of the Port of Newport’s ribbon cutting for the new boat launch boarding floats Monday morning.
