Jury finds Acosta guilty of sex crimes

NEWPORT – Despite hearing only a fraction of the state’s evidence involving sex-related crimes committed against the late April Loper, a Lincoln County Circuit Court jury still found the suspect, Thomas P. Acosta, guilty of two felonies and two misdemeanors.
