Acosta trial dominated by delays in testimony

NEWPORT – The trial of Thomas P. Acosta, a Seattle man accused of sex-related crimes against a Lincoln County woman who later died in a car accident, began last week and continued through Tuesday despite the jury hearing very little testimony from witnesses because much of it was ruled inadmissible by Circuit Court Judge Thomas O. Branford.
