Wave energy meeting is today in Newport

After four years of hearings, workshops and research, the first recommendation on what areas of the state’s territorial sea to open up for renewable energy development is scheduled to take place today (Friday) in Newport when the Territorial Sea Plan Advisory Committee meets for the final time.
