Road crew levels dip in Highway 101

BEVERLY BEACH In an around-the-clock effort to level a sinking stretch of roadway five miles north of Newport, work crews leveled a dangerous dip in U.S. Highway 101 that delivered roller-coaster thrills but robbed motorists of their line of sight.
