Elsie Lola Bogart Beck, 72, of Lebanon, Ore., died July 26, 2009 in Newport.
She was born Feb. 1, 1932 to Pierre M. Bogart and Anna J. Bouse in Sweet Grass County, Mont. She was a high school graduate.
She worked as a bartender for 30 years at Jim’s Landing in Springfield. In her spare time, she enjoyed fishing, traveling and being with family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Pierre Bogart in 1966; mother, Anna Bogart in 1971; brothers, Dale Bogart in 1988, Charles Bogart in 1968 and Gerald Bogart in 2000; and sister, Patricia A. Bogart in 1929.
She is survived by her sons, Brad (Donna) Landers, Scott (Michelle) Landers and Mike Lemmon; sisters, Dorothy Thompson of Klamath Falls and Shirley Cole of Harrisburg; brothers, Donald J. Bogart of Portland, Glen Bogart of Springfield and Douglas Bogart of West Richland, Wash.; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, at Meadow Park, 810 Mill St. in Springfield, followed by a potluck. Guests should bring chairs. Memorial donations may be made to Safe Haven Humane Society, P.O. Box 2018, Albany, OR 97321.
