Julie Marie McDugle, 26, of Moyie Springs, Idaho, died July 21, 2009 in Siletz, Ore.
She was born on Dec. 9, 1982 to Bob and Margie McDugle in Shelton, Wash. She lived in Shelton for 11 years and then moved to Port Orchard, Wash. In 2001, she graduated from South Kitsap High School in Port Orchard.
After graduating, she moved to Oregon and worked in land management, as a pizza delivery person, as a tea shop hostess and as a bank teller.
In 2009, she moved to Moyie Springs, where she worked most recently at the Kootenai River Inn.
She liked trying new things, enjoyed cooking, painting and hiking. She loved animals, the beach and boogie boarding. Most of all, she loved life.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Marjorie McDugle, in 2009.
She is survived by her parents, Bob and Margie McDugle of Moyie Springs; sister, Amy (Adam) Reeves of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; and grandparents, Kenneth and Wynona Howard of Matlock, Wash., and Don McDugle of Anacortes, Wash.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 31, at Bonners Ferry Church of the Nazarene, 158 Meadow Creek Road, Bonners Ferry, Idaho.
